Claudia originally trained at American Ballet Theater as a professional ballet dancer. She was brought into the fitness world by Jane Fonda, to teach at the first Jane Fonda Studio. There, she became one of only two instructors chosen to do a two year apprenticeship with Doreen Rivera in “The Stretch Process.”
Recognized as one of the top teachers of the time, Claudia was recruited by Japanese visionaries to open the first aerobic studio in Japan.. The success of that club led to an international career designing fitness programs, training instructors, and doing publicity for clubs all over the world.
In the US, she worked with Candace Copeland at “Body Express,” was one of the first instructors ever to be certified by the fitness industry (AFA), taught Pilates at Mari Winsor’s first Pilates studio, and was certified by the legendary Zena Rommett in Zena’s FloorBarre.
Nine years ago she discovered MELT for healing and preventing injuries, and extending the professional life of dancers and athletes. She has been hooked ever since!
