In this course, you’ll learn how to relieve chronic aches and pains, prevent injuries, and create effortless stability and movement using the Hand and Foot Treatment balls, Soft Roller, and Soft Half Roller.
This training is appropriate for anyone who wants to become a MELT Instructor or add MELT to their fitness or wellness offerings. Discover how to help your clients minimize joint pain and repetitive stress injuries, recover after a surgery, manage side effects from a variety of disorders and diseases, and how to modify techniques to help clients with special needs. Adding this simple self-care practice to any type of sports training, physical therapy, or healing practice further helps clients prepare and restore their body’s resilience at any age.

Yes, this course is facilitated entirely online via MELT University Online and using Zoom.
To receive your certificate of completion and be granted your status as a MELT Level 1 Instructor, you will need to successfully complete all assignments in the online course, attend all Zoom sessions, pass the final open-book assessment, and submit a video of yourself teaching another person.
No, this is a 3-month course with definitive start and end dates. Each Zoom session covers different moves and sequences, so it’s important you have completed specific modules before joining the Zoom sessions with Sue. A detailed module schedule will be shared with you when the course begins. If for any reason you are unable to complete the course within the course timeframe, you can apply for an extension by emailing our Instructor Support Team.

If you cancel your registration before October 26th, you may receive a full refund to your credit card. Cancellations after October 26th will be refunded in MELT store credit. Refunds will only be processed upon return of all 3 workbooks. If you wish to keep the additional tools shipped to you, a $300 product and restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. If you wish to return the tools, we offer a 30-day return period from receipt of goods. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
While each module is different, on average, you can expect to spend 8-10 hours to complete all assignments within a given module.
Due to shifting from a live to online format, we’re required by the continuing education organizations we work with (ACE, AFAA, NASM, NCBTMB, and PMA) to re-apply to offer CEUs. We are unable to offer CEUs until these applications are approved.
