Gail Bell is a Certified Advanced MELT instructor, trained breathing specialist, professional vocal coach, and actress, shadowing Shane Ann Younts at NYU Graduate Acting. Gail discovered the M.E.L.T. Method in 2008 and was astonished by its ability to alleviate aches and pains, reduce stress, improve sleep, and enhance athletic performance. She devoted the next three years to an intense study of anatomy, breathing and movement, both with Sue Hitzmann, MELT’s creator and Leslie Kaminoff of The Breathing Project. Gail has also studied Feldenkrais, Fitzmaurice, the Alexander Technique, and Carl Stough’s Principles of Breathing Cordination. Gail is dedicated to helping others attain the same profound benefits that she experienced through MELT. She has incorporated it into her vocal coaching with actors, who have found an immediate response in accessing their natural breath to support their work on the Stage.
