Reemerging from the Depths of Book Writing

May 30, 2012

Debbie, Hallee and SueIT is done. If you don’t know what the “it” is, well, it’s my own fault that you don’t know. It took three people, one year, 81,000 words, 310 pages, 14 chapters to write a book for the general public. Longer than it takes to have a baby, seemingly more painful, and one extra person to do it... but it's done.

A first draft submitted 12 months ago, turned into a 6 month immersion into its rewrite. On the other side, a book for the general public to help them eliminate chronic pain, erase the negative signs of aging, and feel great entitled, “The MELT Method” has emerged.

I really began developing this hands-off self treatment technique in group environments in 2004. Though I had been teaching my one-on-one clients my techniques in my private practice years earlier, it was in 2004 the real idea of MELT developed.

But for the past four years a true shift occurred when I hired none other than Debbie Karch to help me refine my marketing material turned into using her for her expertise in training and development. We embarked on revising the MELT 8-session series and ultimately the MELT teaching manuals. What transpired was the MELT Language that helped people with no knowledge of health to get healthy a new way.

MELTing is literally a new genre beyond self-care. It’s not just self-massage, it’s not just self-therapy, it’s not like anything that’s currently out there. It comes from a truly pure place. It comes from my personal desire MELT Hand and Foot Trainingto help others stay healthy and pain-free over their lifetime.

In the past month since my last blog I've done two MELT Instructor Trainings, 40 new instructors are all over the country and up into Canada and 25 new MELT Hand and Foot Instructors in these regions as well. Our little family is growing into a band of Hands-Off Bodyworkers who are pioneering this self care method to people well beyond my reach.Portland TT

It's an amazing time to say the least! I'm glad to say I'm out of the depths of book writing and have the "okay' by Debbie to return to blog writing. I look forward to sharing some of my personal experiences and learning that constantly arise through this process.

Until my next though, get ready for the MELT Method book due out January 1, 2013 with Harper Collins! New MELT videos and downloads on the way as well!
