A New Crew of MELTers Emerges
February 13, 2012
What a weekend. I'm still coming off the buzz of this exciting training. It's always fun for me to share this information with new people and each time there are new experiences, more intriguing questions, and dynamic energy. Each person brings with them extensive education from fitness to therapeutic modalities. This training was no different. Advanced Rolfers, structural integration practitioners, acupuncturists, personal trainers, yoga and pilates instructors, and this time we even had a hypnotherapist!
Each time I teach this program, I really feed off of the energy of each participant, making sure not to leave anyone behind or wondering if they understand and can ultimately convey this work to others. Well, by day two when we dove into the practical application I have to say, the team work, the effort each person brought to the table was really spectacular. This particular group really had a LOT of heart. They were all warm and caring and they really respected each other, shared with each other, and worked together as if they had known each other for years.
The last hour of the training, I always set aside time to answer questions that arise throughout the two days. This way we don't get slowed down during day one when I basically brain dump profound science about the nervous system and connective tissue and bring them together as the Neurofascial System. Of course then I do my best to simplify all of this information into what I call the Living Body Model.
Well this group was really amazing. The Q&A section of the training was so intriguing, I think I may have to try and upload that section so people can listen to the answers!
As our team of MELT Instructors continues to grow and spread across the US and into Canada I hope you will continue to follow what we are doing to help people get out and stay out of the chronic pain cycle, improve their overall health, and prolong their active lifestyle longer. We are ready. Are you?
