2012 IDEA World Conference
July 5, 2012
It seems like the basic fitness philosophies that have been around since the beginning of time would be enough. Eat right, sweat, train hard, and stay muscular should be enough to improve your chances of leading an active, healthy, pain-free life. Alas, it's simply not enough. Consider that there is an ever growing number of fitness enthusiasts dealing with one or more chronic pain symptoms every year, there is something obviously missing.
Many pioneers have added innovative concepts into the bodybuilding foundations the fitness industry is built upon. Yet with all of the functional mentality now infused into fitness workouts to products, what is still missing?
This weekend I will reveal the 4R's of MELT that precede the more commonly used concepts that I will build upon, reintegration and repatterning. Although even these concepts are only a slight element of fitness, these concepts of reintegrating proper neuromuscular patterning and timing is more widely understood.
I have put together three primary sequences MELT Instructors commonly use as foundational elements of MELT Maps. I will reveal some basic techniques and sequences that restore the neurological regulation and connective tissue hydration. this is the first step missing in basic fitness routines. Adding one of these 10 minute sequences prepares the body for more efficient movement, more accurate control, and a reduction in joint compression and injury.
If you are in San Diego, this is an easy way to access MELT and learn some of the basic sequences that can help you stay active, healthy, and pain-free whether you exercise frequently or not.
I look forward to seeing many of my favorite colleagues tomorrow! For more information about the IDEA World Conference log on to www.ideafit.com today and register!
